We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated EHCP Deputy Lead Case Coordinator to join our dedicated Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a statutory SEND casework service, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements whilst promoting positive outcomes for children, young people and their families. The role includes supporting the Lead EHCP Case Co-ordinator, quality assuring Education, Health and Care Plans, monitoring statutory processes, and providing support, guidance and challenge to colleagues and partner agencies.

Working within a fast-paced and rewarding environment, you will collaborate with families, educational settings, health professionals and other agencies to ensure that children and young people receive appropriate and effective support. You will also contribute to service development, help improve the quality of EHCP documentation and annual reviews, and present cases at SEN Panels where required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people with SEND and who can confidently navigate complex casework and statutory processes.

You will have:

• Excellent knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience of working with children and young people with SEND and their families.
• Strong partnership-working skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of professionals and agencies.
• Experience of analysing reports, evaluating evidence and producing high-quality written documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure whilst meeting challenging statutory deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, quality improvement and service development.
• Emotional resilience, flexibility and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
