A203C Trainee or Qualified Lecturer in Plumbing

About this role

As a Plumbing Lecturer, you'll use your industry experience to inspire and develop the next generation of plumbers. You'll deliver engaging practical and classroom-based lessons across Levels 1-3, helping learners build their skills, confidence, and readiness for the workplace. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll guide learners throughout their journey, providing constructive feedback, supporting the development of English and Maths skills, and adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs. You'll help learners overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and understand how their studies connect to real-world careers and opportunities.

We're open to applications from both qualified and trainee lecturers, and offer full-time and part-time opportunities (minimum 3 days per week). This flexibility makes the role ideal for experienced plumbers who wish to continue self-employed work or maintain industry involvement while sharing their expertise in a rewarding teaching career.

Alongside teaching, you'll contribute to college events, open days and employer engagement activities, work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding learner experience, and help maintain a safe, professional learning environment where students can thrive.

About You

• You will have relevant industry experience as a plumber or in a related field.
• You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or an equivalent qualification.
• You will be happy to complete Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding training as part of the role.
