SEMH Teaching Assistant (Gloucester)

About this role

Supporting learners with SEMH needs and other barriers to learning, you’ll work closely with teachers to help students build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their goals. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment both on campus and in the community. You’ll also support learning activities, educational visits, work experience, and wider college events.

About You

• Experience supporting young people in education, training, or similar settings.
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent) – please include this in your application.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience supporting learners with SEMH needs (desirable).
