Business Intelligence Manager

About this role

You'll lead our Business Intelligence team to deliver accurate, meaningful data and insights that support decision-making across the College. Working closely with colleagues at all levels, you'll help improve reporting, data quality and business processes, ensuring information is clear, reliable and easy to use. You'll also play a key role in developing our reporting systems, supporting innovation and building a positive culture where data helps drive continuous improvement and success.

About You

• Experience of working within Business Intelligence, Management Information, Planning, Performance, Data Analytics or similar function.
• Experience of managing, supervising or providing technical leadership to staff.
• Strong experience of developing management information, dashboards, reports and analytical outputs using SQL, reporting/BI tools, Excel or equivalent platforms
• Experience of using an analytical, critical thinking approach to interpreting large, complex data sets and presenting clear insight to non-technical audiences.
• Outcome oriented - experience of working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate these into effective solutions.
• Commitment to good data quality and data protection, with experience in responsible data handling and data validations and reconciliation.
